Borj min 3agli 6ar

Yesterday, I read this article in AlGabaswhile on the plane. And it astounded me how much people can use religion to justify their wrong doings (of course; this is my perception of wrong and right). It also reminded me of my last post on how “Bad” and “Good” are relative when it comes to people’s domain of thinking and ideologies. And just in case you missed it, please tell me; does this make any sense to you?

I'm shocked. I can't believe it. How can they do that? And why does the law protect them? Isn’t this HARAM? And why is it always about men, men & men? How about these poor girls or women they are using and abusing? This is crazy. The world is getting nuts.

I was shocked too! A marriage club? more like a“swingers club”!

The guy being interviewed had the audacity to criticize others who live in sin!

And if it is a joke, then it sure is a bad one. But what happens if one did not publicize his marriage? Is it considered illegal? Does the court require an official announcement or the approval of his first wife for instance? I doubt it, or otherwise these guys would never get away with what they’re doing.

Purgatory72
Long story :)

Not only that, they even refused the idea of their daughters being in the same situation, which means that they do know that what they’re doing is wrong, but still use religion to justify their actions. This is pathetic.

Allah yesalmich, bas wallah ma khalo shy. Wi i7na in3aiyib 3ala shiyab Bangkok. Wi 3indina min hal khair wayed, and mind you; within laws and regulations.

As a matter of fact I consider this as a bigger sin, at least prostitution has its own people, and it’s a pre agreement between the two on cost, but these guys are using poor girls and diverting them to prostitutes. Those girls don’t even know what is these people’s intention until each guy gets bored of them. In other words; it’s a legalized prostitution.

Temetwir
Well, I hope it’s not true. But why do you think Algabas might publish anything like that if it was not true.

Hisham
Offffffff, I hope not .

Insane. Sounds like a mix between a swingers club and prostitution under cover of secret marriage.

How can this be legal?

Apparently the first marriage takes place abroad, the consecutive ones here in Kuwait. Therefore the woman only marries herself off to be able to maintain her life (education, escaping poverty, etc.), so I don’t think elmathoon has much control over this issue, nor does any official.
Jewaira
The marriage is legally correct under state laws. No one can question this case even when it is publicized in newspapers. Laws are set to organize individual’s harmony within his society. It never questions intentions. Intentions come within each individual through his conscience. But unfortunately, these people paralyze their conscience through their misuse of religion (and this can easily be done with any set rules that are not modified). No place here for the mind; it’s absent. And they are only controlled by desire.

la ma yesta3bi6oon, they just found a way to waver their original intentions. People who could misuse laws are everywhere; I sow this happening many times in Ministries (not on a similar level) by whoever can find a way. I repeat here; people need to go back to the self, they need to activate their conscience; their common sense of right and wrong. They need to return to their humanity, to put themselves in other’s shoes and feel their agony. Otherwise; they’ll always stay victims to their desires and no laws can deter their wrong doings.
