Things are Upside Down

When finally the breeze of freedom hit the town
And for the first time green grass sprouted
Locust formed a gray cloud
Using all types of intimidation
To cast away a whole generation
With their vicious intoxication

The wave of change was too hard to bear
For some who sought excess in share
They failed to see beyond their noses
And joined the locust in their affair
Unaware that their myopia was the domain
On which the locust nourished its domination

This land will never be free
So long it has those referees
Who carry deluding wannabees
On their fragile shoulders
That soon will be broken to pieces
And the price is a country
