See what a prayer can do to overcome nature’s disasters, and when you do, please pray for the victims of hurricane Katrina, ten minutes of your time is all what you need.

My view on this film mirrored that of Michael Shermer (Scientific American, Jan. 2005). Thank you Antares for the copy and discussions!
ok..I bought the DVD a while back but when I began to watch it...it got a little boring so I never finished it...does it get better? I've been wanting someone to encourage me to finish it!

The thing about this movie is that it opens up the mind to countless probabilities, what science provides is a general base and guidance, but it does not always provide the ultimate truths and that’s why a scholar might come up with a theory and another might come up with another that may contradict the first, but that doesn’t mean that anyone of these theories is wrong, both could be right, this just broadens the mind, I liked Michael Shemer’s view in this area although some of his writings did not make much sense to me.

Although I love Sufi poetry, I don’t consider myself a believer when we are talking about conventional religion, but yes I do believe in God as the ultimate beloved and a lot of things in this movie, for me had fallen into place

The problem with conventional religion is not the practice or the interpretation, to me the problem lies within the essence of the religion, the belief of punishment and reward for instance and the lows and regulations that are a trade mark in each and every religion, with the conventional religion God is portrayed as good and bad, to me, this is not possible, God is always good, God is the unconditional ultimate love, he is greater than great and he lies right here within me and through me he manifests his great creation. And I’m referring to God by “ he” only as a matter of speech because I don’t not know what is God, but I can feel him right within me .All the traits of God are my propensity; I do not need any religion to show me good from bad, and no one can have a definite line between them. What may be good in one situation might be bad in the other, I know this by nature and I make my own decisions, and it does not matter what you call this belief, what matters is looking into the original self and bringing the pure, good you, the traits that you were originally born with not the ones that you have acquired by conditioning, the heart that is filled with love to all humans and nature not the one that was brutally conditioned to believe in one thing and discard all others which most religions try to enforce. Ok, I better stop right here, otherwise this will never stop.
