Mosalsal 6ash ma 6ashI heard that the caricature that raised all the mambo jumbo was of a man with a bomb on his head and underneath was written “Mohammad”, to tell you the truth; I did not see the caricature myself, just have read about it here and there. But if that is the case; then how many Mohammads do we have in the Islamic community? Mohammad here symbolizes a Moslem figure in the eyes of the world today. Islam insults all Christians and Jews by dubbing them as “ kiradah wa khanazeer” (monkeys and pigs) besides other verses that do not come to mind now. And our Islamists have done a good job in expressing their hatred all over the media. And apparently for no good reason other than that it is according to Islamic preaching. But I don’t see any protest from the Christian community escalating to the level of countries (I deliberately excluded the Jews not to get into a Pandora box). But when a Christian symbolized Islamists as being suicide bombers, the artist did not come with something that is untrue. This is the picture of Islam in the world today. Thanks to our fundamentalists.
I really want to know what is this big fuss about? Who is benefiting from this?
People, please stop being judgmental, repeating every word others tell you. They are misusing your religious sympathy. Dig into it yourselves and then judge.

i agree with all the way but i dont think the qoran dubbed people of other faiths as "qirada w khanazeer" thats what extremists call them its their interpretation.
I was thinking the same exact thing, I actually saw the caricature on one website and it was just some bearded guy with a bomb on his head which resembled his "e3mama" or the head dress similar to the ghitra, and had the words of Mohammad and Allah on it, I was like so how is he the Prophet, Get a life people seriously!
If we were to do this, then why didn't the Christians or Jews react to whatever is being sad about them or done about their religion? Why only us?
You're right there Jashanmal. Why now and only this, against Denmark, when there have been religious trespasses before in other countries?
I am just wondering what they have done with all those Danish products they removed from the shelves? Stored them till this is over and then put new expiry dates on them?
Or dump them in the garbage bins while there are so many hungry and needy people out there?
Perhaps they are re-sold in Friday market. Or distributed amongst relatives and friends.

If you look on the net, you will find material that is much more offensive than those cartoons, and words that will make any moderate Muslim cringe.
Whether we like it or not, there is a whole propaganda against Muslims everywhere now and that is fuelled by the acts of a few who have done all of us a great disfavour.

The extremist did not drive this notion from void. Koran had told the story of three groups of Jews; one complied with the Sabbath and did not go fishing on that day since it was forbidden and they acted to stop it, another group complied yet did not stop the ones who didn’t, the third did not comply although they wavered their way by throwing their nets into the waters on Fridays and collected their fish on Sundays. So God only spared the first group and mocked the other two as monkeys
فَلَمَّا عَتَوْا عَنْ ما نُهُوا عَنْهُ قُلْنا لَهُمْ كُونُوا قِرَدَةً خاسِئِينَ
{فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ أَنْجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْ السُّوءِ وَ أَخَذْنَا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا بِعَذَابٍ بَئِيسٍ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ}. الأعراف (7:165).
(I’m sure that there are more verses that include Christians as well, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to dig them out)
In Moslem perspectives today no one belongs to the first group, so logically this categorizes all Jews as the latter two groups.

{وَ لَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَاناً وَ كُفْراً وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَ الْبَغْضَاء إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُواْ نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللّهُ وَ يَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَادًا وَ اللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ}
(من الذين هادوا يحرفون الكلم عن مواضعه ويقولون سمعنا وعصينا واسمع غير مسمع وراعنا ليا بألسنتهم وطعنا في الدين ولو أنهم قالوا سمعنا وأطعنا واسمع وانظرنا لكان خيرا لهم وأقوم ولكن لعنهم الله بكفرهم فلا يؤمنون إلا قليلا)(46)
Pay attention to illa qaleela, which is interpreted as the original group and emphasized more in the below excerpts of tradition.
لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي مَا أَتَى عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ حَذْوَ النَّعْلِ بِالنَّعْلِ حَتَّى إِنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَتَى أُمَّهُ عَلَانِيَةً لَكَانَ فِي أُمَّتِي مَنْ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ وَإِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ تَفَرَّقَتْ عَلَى ثِنْتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ مِلَّةً وَ تَفْتَرِقُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى ثَلَاثٍ وَسَبْعِينَ مِلَّةً كُلُّهُمْ فِي النَّارِ إِلا مِلَّةً وَاحِدَة.ً قَالُوا وَ مَنْ هِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ مَا أَنَا عَلَيْهِ وَ أَصْحَابِي
و قَالَ أيضاً: افْتَرَقَتْ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً فَوَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَسَبْعُونَ فِي النَّارِ وَافْتَرَقَتْ النَّصَارَى عَلَى ثِنْتَيْنِ وَ سَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً فَإِحْدَى وَ سَبْعُونَ فِي النَّارِ وَ وَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَ الَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَتَفْتَرِقَنَّ أُمَّتِي عَلَى ثَلاثٍ وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً وَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَ ثِنْتَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ فِي النَّارِ. قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ الْجَمَاعَةُ.

سورة التوبة 28 : "قاتلوا الذين لا يؤمنون بالله ولا باليوم الاخر ولايحرمون ما حرّم الله ورسوله ولا يدينون دين الحق من الذين أوتوا الكتاب حتّى يعطوا الجزية عن يد وهم صاغرون "
جاء في صحيح مسلم في كتاب السلام.. باب النهي عن ابتداء أهل الكتاب بالسلام وكيف يرد عليهم: "حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا عبد العزيز يعني الدراوردي عن سهيل عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لا تبدءوا اليهود ولا النصارى بالسلام فإذا لقيتم أحدهم في طريق فاضطروه إلى أضيقه."
عن عدي بن حاتم: أنه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقرأ هذه الآية: ( اتخذوا أحبارهم ورهبانهم أرباباً من دون الله) الآية ، فقلت له: إنا لسنا نعبدهم قال: ( أليس يحرمون ما أحل الله فتحرمونه ويحلّون ما حرم الله، فتحلونه؟) ، فقلت: بلى. قال : ( فتلك عبادتهم) رواه أحمد، والترمذي وحسنه
سورة آل عمران: {وَإِذَ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلاَ تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاء ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ (187)}.
{لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُودَ وَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَ كَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ (87) كَانُوا لا يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَنْ مُنكَرٍ فَعَلُوهُ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ (88) تَرَى كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ أَنْ سَخِطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ فِي الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ (89)}
{وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ بَلْ لَعَنَهُمْ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيلاً مَا يُؤْمِنُونَ}.
In short; as Moslems we are trained to curse the Jews and not accept other religions, this is a link that better describes my point of view, click here
But regardless of all that, what happened with Denmark I see it as the different perspective of other nations to the Moslem figure today. And this is their point of view; it does not have to be mine. Offended or not, it should have been dealt with in a more civilized way. Boycotting Danish products is a very primitive approach. It results in equal loss to both parties.

To tell you the truth I’m still convinced that what the artists portrayed in those caricatures presents their point of view about Islam as they see it today. Islamists have threatened them with cold blooded murder; do you expect any less resentment?

Although we all know that Christians and Jews are “ ahl elkitab” yet our Islamic perching, either by interpreting of Kuran or by tradition “ 7adeath” had conditioned us to express hatred to them and call them “ moshrikeen”. Just attend any Friday preaching concerning ahl elkitab in the mosques and see for yourself. Once I asked shikh dean: who are the monkeys and pigs who were mentioned in the Koran? He said: those of Ahl elkitab who did not comply with their original preaching. So I asked him: if we believe that none of them complied to the original preaching since they have manipulated their sacred books by “ elta7reef”, does this mean that they are all cursed? He answered: if you are talking about ahl elkitab today, then yes.
In short; this is the way we see them, and that is the way they see us. And the apology that was submitted by that newspaper confirms my point of view further more, here is a link.
So may be the problem is at home. If we care to brighten our image, it should not be done by force, but by good deeds. What did Moslems do to show the good intention of their faith? Practically speaking; nothing. On the contrary; we are portrayed as terrorists and bandits, more of a reason for their resentment and for them they have the right to express their opinions.
And by the way I have seen a lot of mockeries of Jesus Christ by Christians themselves and some of rabbi’s as well, but have never heard of such an outburst to this extreme.
Another thing; in this post I am not asking anyone to side to one point of view against another, yes, the west is not always right, and we are also not always right. This post was meant to look at the situation from a broader perspective without being influenced by one party against the other, and not let our emotions be the judge.

We are so gullible, this newspaper wanted publicity and who is louder than us to publicize for it especially with the principle that says no publicity is bad publicity..
