The tinkling ice in the tilted glass questioned Moslem? And you drink? A little grin escaped my flabbergasted lips I had to go back in memory
The days of the so called subjective purity To the deity The days of submissive obedience Prudence to any fatal punishment
FEAR and Reward The minute the corpse is put to ground Mechanized with afterlife evils Not the eminent pleasures of the Reward
Perfection, is what I sought Yet I could never be perfectly Doubtless of my imperfections I had to give more
Yet, I couldn’t give more Exhaustion to believe the unbelievable Blindfolded, ensued my endless prayers for forgiveness But I couldn’t stay blinded; after all I’m His creation
Ayya what you write is exactly how i feel you some time express my feelings more than my self! every one says Islam answers all your questions ..... I dont see where?? all my questions are taboo):
Mini Я. Thanks sweet mini and enjoy your drink while you can, because I hope I did not mess up with my Arabic, don’t laugh ;p ولاّدة The problem with religion is that it’s a totalitarism, and the more you go into details, the harder life becomes ( been there, done that). If God wanted us perfect, why didn’t he create perfection in us, like angels? If God didn’t want us to doubt, why did he create brains? If God didn’t want us to get buzzed, then why drinks give us this feeling? And why wine should be an incentive in heavens if it is forbidden on earth. Some say heaven’s wine does not make you drunk !!!then what is the use of rivers of grape juice? Personally; I neither like grapes nor its juice if it doesn’t give me a buzz. There are so many answered questions, no one more than Moslems can twist and turn the argument, in lengthy boring details to waver your questions. And the answer is always; a masterpiece thesis of garbage. And I don’t have to tell you how much I missed you, do I :*
9ahba'a Islam answered a lot of my questions, one day I was a true student of faith, honest in my peruse. With open heart and mind, and an appetite to learn, but that was my mistake, I should have blindfolded my mind because Islam didn’t give me the right answers, and my mind couldn’t take any more.
Moslem? And you drink? If I get a penny every time I’m asked this question. Even when I chose to live in Europe, still the same shit applies. Even when you run far away from everyone, you will always be haunted by the same question.
I went through the same phases and experiences. The problem, in my opinion, lies in the "absolute truth" myth. Submission to the "absolute truth" leads to frustration, dissatisfaction and inconsistency for perfectionism is impossible.
There are so many mediocre things in our lifetime, but love does not have to be one of them. Take the risk, for the biggest risk in life is not taking one at all.

I guess you are right; without going into details, one can never see the truth, even if that was his truth.

I bet, like me, you are one of her fans. And I always have special moods for her.

And I loved your elegant comment, thanks
It is just like awakening after being in a trance for a very long time.
One must understand why one believes, and not believe just because another says you must.
