Away I soar into my own entity
Where there is no one but me
I see me, a grin on a face
A fluttering heart in ecstasy
United - I get a better sense of this other me
Soaring away from the universe
In serenity, taking a proclivity
Towards our connectivity
Then I get back to humanity
And see the total universe
Communicate with others
And test my inter-connectivity

An Update
After posting this article I had several calls from friends inquiring about this activity, and whether or not it carried any political agenda. And here I assure you that I wouldn’t be posting about it if it did. The organizers are Wafa Group which I trust and I’m proud to say that their pro-bono services are for humanitarian purposes alone.
See you there, Lebanon needs as much support as it could get.

Me & luloo will definitely be there. It is payback time to Lebanon.

I wouldn’t have expected anything less from you or from Luloo, allah yi7afith libnan.
dearest ayya
needless to say me and hubby will be there and hopefully will see you and have a chance to talk
and the poem scares me, because it makes sense, so I make sense? :)
I’m looking forward to that sweetie, and yes you do make sense; how can one interact and make peace with others if he/she can’t make peace with himself/herself :)
attending this event is the least we can do to the beutiful in all means of beuty Lebanon
your words glows in the darkness around us

A short documentary to show how politics ruin relief efforts sounds great, war and politics had done enough destruction to our region, we need peaceful protests, we need to pray for peace. We need to carry candles and flowers, not bombs and weapons. Gandhi brought the biggest empire of it’s time to its knees by his peaceful protest. He walked through the rice paddies urging the masses that gathered around him to be patient and answer the blow with the power of control. While other roared in high palaces and demanded war. Yes power is in controlling oneself, it’s not in physical fights. Allah yigaweekom, what you are doing is great.

That’s because you and I are looking for reasons in a world that lost its reason amidst the struggle for power. Yes we need our own peaceful world; we need our security as the Lebanese people have the right for this security, as they need the right to live and to enjoy life. Thanks for passing by sweetie and see you soon :*

Here is a song that was stuck to my tongue ever since the war broke out, thanks to Rampurple for providing the lyrics.:
Bravery
There are children standing here,
Arms outstretched into the sky,
Tears drying on their faces.
He has been here.
Brothers lie in shallow graves.
Fathers lost without a trace.
A nation blind to their disgrace,
Since he’s been here.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery in your eyes anymore.
Only sadness.
Houses burnt beyond repair.
The smell of death is in the air.
A woman weeping in despair says,
He has been here.
Tracer lighting up the sky.
It’s another families’ turn to die.
A child afraid to even cry out says,
He has been here.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery in your eyes anymore.
Only sadness.
There are children standing here,
Arms outstretched into the sky,
But no one asks the question why,
He has been here.
Old men kneel and accept their fate.
Wives and daughters cut and raped.
A generation drenched in hate.
Yes, he has been here.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery in your eyes anymore.
Only sadness.
(James Blunt)
we need to keep in touch with the real world no matter how brutal it gets..
as long as we don't lose our humanity in return :)
keep communicating..
keep testing your inter-connectivity..
wish i could attend..
enjoy :)

Find the core of inhumanity; ironically, it’s always religion.
You take care of your studies sweetie, your spirit is with us. And I will shoot some pictures for you to see :)
