My blind Valentine
I went to the Graduate’s Society (the translation sounds funny) last night, not to hear speeches since I have had enough of those. But I thought may be I will run into two cyber friends whom are very dear to me: Shurouq and Princess. I neither could stand what seemed to me 7izb Alomah’s coalition with liberals, nor was easy to single out my friends in the crowd; I got disappointed and left early. Too bad cause the bright blue eyed guy sitting next to me was very cute and funny.
Away from this indigestion:
Let’s see what love has to offer for Valentine.
A friend who was insisting lately to meet up with me and I kept postponing, kept SMSing while I was in the conference asking me to pass by urgently, so I did.
This friend is having a small “love gathering for valentine” and he is fixing me up with a blind date. And as ridiculous as this may sound, his arrangement does not sound too bad. I do not know anything about my date, not even his name, neither does he. All we know about each other (his point of view) is that we both compliment each other. There will be other singles (both genders) in the gathering and so he is betting that we two would readily click. And although I refused in the beginning, he convinced me that if things did not go as he expected then neither of us will ever know who the other one is. Not bad ha?
He might even turn out to be the cute guy I was sitting next to last night ( wishful thinking).
So guys, there it goes, and I hope I won’t be disappointed as I was last night.
Have a wonderful Valentine with lots of love.

Thanks sweets

Lady J
I had a great night; he is a very sweet person, educated and with a very liberal mind. Nobody had to tell me who it was because the euphoric look in my friend (and his girl’s) was obvious (you should have seen the look LOL). In short; it seems as a good project for a friendship but nothing more. He thinks I’m too skinny, you know some Arab male preference :p, ah well.
Princess
I know sweetie, this is the second time we miss each other, but as they say; elthaltha thabta. Inshallah one day soon. And I had a lovely day filled with love around my kids, my baby (dog) as well as beautiful friends. As for a lover; I’m not looking for that, if he comes into my life fine, otherwise el7imdillah, I don’t feel inah shay nagisni. I think your prayers sent ample positivistness my way, love you honey :*
Mushmush
Ah, you too, see, I missed more than what I thought I did. Too bad :(
As for the speeches; they were repetitive and exhaustive. The thing that bothered me the most is the vast attendance of 7izb Alommah. It’s not being prejudice, but, this group have their own agendas and I’m not sure if it is a legal party, I know they had issues with the government before but did not follow the dispute. So they still fall under a big question mark ????????.
I think one of the biggest mistakes that some known liberals did is issuing a joint statement suggesting el7ikoomah elsha3biya at a time the country was going through its worst political transition of el7okom, and with whom? This incident still gives me a tinge of bitterness. And now being with them in the same boat gives a lot of misinterpreted signals that liberal don’t need. I have never seen liberals so week and desperate.
Wilted_rose
I will if there is some juicy developments ;)
But I doubt it :p

May all your days be filled with love and happiness, if love could have another name, it’s MsB, you deserve the best.

The truth
I replied to you at the link and re-inter it here:
You have your sources and I have mine. And both are rubbish, because both were taken from the word of mouth and not the actual history, the fact remains; there is no authentic Koran nor tradition. If you care to know the truth go back to history, not the books written by elmalalwah
hello there >>>
still - we have one Quran
for all Muslims.
when u say there is another version of Quran u have to show that version.
thats the point um highlighting!
u have ur own opinion about Quran
But still its one book!
Mus7af Fatma is NOT a Quran!
and about ur source!
i found it!
The truth
This excerpt was taken from the link you provided:
This is exactly why Moslem are FORBIDDEN to read any exegesis of Koran; they do not want to believe that Koran could be manipulated because then they would be defying the belief of blind faith ( aliman almotlaq); how could the words of God be manipulated if God Himself took the liberty of keeping it till resurrection day? This is the conflict. Tradition is different though since it is written by man, therefore you see today different sects having different reference ( marji3). And these are so diverse in Tafseer and in the interpretation of Koran and alseerah even under the same sect. I tend to discard all because they do not tell me the truth about the history of Koran; they only portray the political disputes over ruling the Islamic state after the prophet’s death. Since it’s a well known fact that Koran was not compiled until the reign of khalifat Utoman ( the first version of what we have today) according to well documented Moslem sources and even that had no vowels ( fat7a, thama, etc. and probably not even tangeet, since the history of “tangeet al7oroof” in Arabic language is still under argument) they only present a biased point of view with lots of decorative words. Very few learned Muslims have critically analyzed the book because any attempt is accompanied with fear of being labeled as an atheist or biased to yahood wa nasara. May be even ye7aliloon damah as Alkhumaini did to Salman Rushdi. Who said that Islam is the religion of freedom?
There are lots of publications though, some dated to more than fifty years back which I trust more, because they go back to old documentations and el3omlat of those days taken from the civilizations that encountered Islam back to the time of the prophet and expressed what they had known about the new religion:
1- A. Guillaume, Islam ( Harmonsworth, 1978)
2- E. Gibbon, Decline and fall of the Roman Empire, 6 vols, ( London, 1941)
3- T. Garlyle, Sartor Resartus: On Heroes and Hero Worship ( London, 1973)
4- S.Reinach, Orpheus: A History of Religion ( New York, 1932)
5- J. Wansbrough, Quranic Studies ( oxford, 1977)
6- C. J. Adams, “Quran: The Text and Its History” in the Encyclopedia of Religion, Mircea Eliade, editor in-chief ( New York, London: Macmillan, 1987)
And many more.
And about Koran Fatima I did not say it exists, I said that Sheeat believe that it’s with Almahdi Almontathar and it will come back to existence when he reappears, and I think with your comment on Binkraishan you already confirm that.
Have a good day
The Truth
Ok as I said before to each his own, but if you care to know my sources, check this, it will give you a good idea, but I have to warn you, you might read things that offends you if you are not open minded about it.
